Men's 35+ team playing in Burlington - Seeking 1 more player

Men's 35+ Soccer team Playing out of Sherwood Forest park in Burlington, 7x7.

Team is decent - division is pretty wide open, have 1 more spot, would love to grab another midfielder - we have a few guys who will be away for large chunks of the season travelling with family.

I had commented on a few lists and noticed even week to week my own lists moved albums around, so I went back to do this objectively; songs were scored on a 0-5 system.

  • 5 — All-time favorite, could listen forever
  • 4 — Hit song, always a good time
  • 3 — Good deep cut, rewards the real fans
  • 2 — Decent, holds its own
  • 1 — Skippable, not really for you
  • 0 — Why does this exist

I went through every album and objectively tried to score the songs where they meant to me. I think Nostalgia rewards the older albums, but some of the newer stuff scored higher for me than I thought it would. Pagans in particular is a weird one, the songs I like I like, the rest are skips.

Anyway I rank them now based on AVG Score as:

  1. Fantasies - 4
  2. Old World Underground - 3.9
  3. Live it Out - 3.9 (This one surprised me as I always have it 4-5 on my own lists lol)
  4. Static Anonymity - 3.8 * Small sample size
  5. Art of Doubt - 3.6
  6. Formentera - 3.6
  7. Grow Up & Blow Away - 3.5
  8. Formentera II - 3.2 (Scored higher than I thought I would)
  9. Romanticize The Dive - 3. 2
  10. Synthetica - 3
  11. Pagans in Vegas - 2.4
  12. Mainstream EP - 1.8 (But Butcher is a good tune!)

The CN intermodal Hub which was steamrolled through by our Federal Government, despite assessments indicating it would create few jobs, have negative detriments on human health (From aerial pollutants that have no acceptable levels) as well as large environmental impacts, is now proposing an additional development that will further increase the number of industrial trucks commuting on Tremaine, Dundas, and impacting the northern Burlington/Orchard neighbourhood.

While there is a need for these developments the location of this one is poorly thought out and being forced upon the citizens of Burlington and Milton.

If you think our region should be more than automated Distrubution centers you can sign here https://www.change.org/MiltonSaysNoMore

Seems our local government sees Milton as nothing but a giant Distribution Center and an off ramp for Halton off the 401.

Can we see someone create plans to build facilities with actual jobs, and local businesses beyond just having the town become a giant throughway for trucks and DCs???

How do we get this stopped?
