[OC] My Little Arknights Game/Project
Hellow everynyan!
I just want to share a little project I started two days ago (you can find on here) it is a kind of idle game, where you can have Operators walking and doing Operators things on top of your task bar.
My goals are stated on the github page about this project... Of course there is a lot of operators to be added and more features to add, but I just wanted to share this kinda finished state of now.
If you want to try yourself go here and download here the executable (yes, a developer giving executable out off the bat like that...) and should be ootb. (For Linux users, if you guys exist read the first link about how better setup on Linux)
What can you expect?
>Operator walking from side to side on a small area
(made a small area since it isn't pass trought so it blocks that region of the screen)
>Bully- I mean, interact with them (clinking on them)
>Skins for the operators
>Voices, when changing operators, interacting with them, on idle
>Actions like sleeping and sitting
>Trust bar, yes here you will need to grind trust too xd
What about the future?

>Originum Prime farm to unlock skins
>Maybe some afk/tycoon/idle game mode

Limitations that I'm aware of
>Very low Operators in the "game"

(I use Linux and I have to deal with my share of problems with my WM, so to have a consistent experience trough any desktop I made the screen fixed)
Obs.: The red in the backgorund is due my Linux WM config, you probably will have a transparent one line in the 1st img.

Ajuda com mause zoado no Linux
Olá, espero que esse post se diferencie um pouco dos posts que a gente vê geralmente aqui que são coisas mais básicas e mais focado distro X distro Y, então quero ver a força da comunidade BR aqui no Reddit, para ver se condigo ajuda com meu sistema.
BOm, estou usando arch (btw) e meus jogos até que funcionavam bem tranquilo e sem problemas, porém um dia decidi tentar instalar um Photoshop (que marro menos funcionou...) pq eu tava cismado em usar algo que só o Photoshop proporcionava (pelo menos com um acesso mais fácil e simples de usar), e no passo a passo das tentativas, cheguei a instalar o pacote do wine no meu arch e não sei se foi isso, mas acho que desde então meus prefixos wine/proton deram uma zoada no mause.
Eu lembro em específico que queria jogar FFXIV e foi uma puta dor de cabeça, pq tinha o mause do jogo e ao clicar vira o mause do sistema e eu não conseguia clicar em nada no jogo... Eu acabei conseguindo contornar de uma forma ou outra naquele momento, mas notei que depois disso, alguns outros jogos o cursor não era pego automaticamente e ficava escapando da tela.
Bom, minahs spcs são:
Archlinux
RX 9060 XT
Ryzen 5 5600
Niri
Dois monitores... (sim eu sei que isso traz problema inclusive ainda mais por causa da DE e Wayland...)
E queria saber se tem alguma forma deu resetar as configurações do wine/proton, sei que tem prefixos específicos e pah para cada jogo, mas sla, parece que houve algum BO que ferou geral...
Eu lembro de ter visto também um cara comentando no r/linux_gaming sobre usar o environment do WAYLAND, não sei se por padrão o meu sistema já usa, ou se roda tudo ainda em Xorg... Mas aparentemente não fez mudança nenhuma (coloquei no /etc/environment) pq queria aplicar globalmente para não ter q fazer jogo por jogo.

Another grab cursor problem...
Hello, I'm using arch (btw), and my games have been working fine, but I think trying to install a phostoshop some time ago I've downloaded wine from the repository due the guide saying to do so and I think it was since them something might have broken/mixed and my mouse were never the same again when using proton/wine.
I remember having a lot of headache bc I couldn't click with the mause, like in FFXIV, I would lauch, the cursor would appear of the game, but when clicking would change back for the linux one and come back...
I think I had resolved this issue, but I noticed a lot other games the grab cursor broke... and since them I've been usging gamescope with --grab-cursor, but I would like to try fix that or see a better solution to always using gamescope... I'm now going back to play Arknights: Endfield and having problem with the cursor, sparked the idea to try fix those things...
Now that I've said the problems, let's complicate a bit more with the specs I'm running.
I'm on a RX 9060 XT, with Ryzen 5 5600, but the problem is, I'm using Niri with dual monitor (and I know this usually just makes it worse)
And I would like to ask you guys is there is a way to try return my wine to default configs and/or try a better implementation on grab cursor as I am having...
I've past some days ago a commentary saying using a Wayland environment flag solved his issues, but I sadly didn't save his comment, and trying to use PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 in /etc/environment didn't change a thing.
