First time fishing in royal canal
21 years living near the royal canal I never fished it😂
So I said I’ll pop by and spend 30-40 mins with a lure.
5 little European perches in the span of an hour and a half.

Time for my timing belt kit and accessories kit to be replaced on my 2012 A4 Avant B8 2.0l TDI (engine code CAGC)
I have ordered everything (that I am aware of) that I will need.
I am going to attempt to do the whole job myself and I know it’s not the easiest job to do. (Take in consideration that I am mechanically inclined and capable, but I haven’t done any timing belts or chains before)
My question is, what are some things I need to keep in mind/be aware of when doing this?
I have the exact timing pin kit and a proper torque wrench (I have ordered the crankshaft pulley stretch bolts and they’re on the way)
I will flush out the coolant and replace with fresh new coolant, and I know that the AC rad doesn’t need disconnecting and can be put to the side.
Anything I need to keep an eye out for?
Thanks :)

Context:
After only owning the car for a week and a half I keep getting the “washer fluid low, please refill” message on screen, after filling it up three times in this week, I thought it might just be the washer bottle cracked somewhere as it is an old-ish car so it didn’t bother me too much, until….
This morning noticed my passenger side floor carpet a bit damp to the touch. Investigated further and realised that the whole floor underneath was absolutely soaking wet and water puddling….
Long story short, spent 5-6 hours trying to troubleshoot and find the cause of the water leak and it all came down to the hose that runs windscreen washer fluid to the back had a very very small hole in it. But what made me more frustrated is…. WHY just WHY Audi…. Do you route a thin plastic hose that carries a liquid, IN THE ELECTRICAL WIRING HARNESS OF THE CAR 😭😭😭 I had to undo the material holding the huge wiring harness to get to this washer fluid hose and fix the leak…..
I ended up just taking out the wheel arch liner and routing the hose (after the pump) to dump into the wheel well area instead.
That plastic hose isn’t easy to fix or glue the hole shut because it’s a hard material plastic and also bends and expands under pressure.
