Can I train a deaf dog to be my ADA animal?Do deaf dogs travel well?

There is a deaf dog up for adoption at a local shelter and I keep going back to the listing over and over. I'm very drawn to her but we do travel at least one week of the month, always by car. I wouldn't want to leave her alone and would only consider adopting her if I could train her to be my legitimate ADA animal, NOT an emotional support animal. I am diabetic and experience frequent unanticipated lows. I have a CGM and you can buy a separate CGM reader that I was thinking I could have her carry along with my insulin and low glucose supplies and train her to come to me when it vibrates. I checked the ADA website and that would make her an ADA dog and I would be able to bring her everywhere with me. She already knows some sign language and I would continue that training of course.

Is my thinking logical? I know all animals have different personalities and I'd have to meet her to assess whether she has the right temperament to be a support animal but I have no idea whether deaf dogs travel as well as hearing dogs or if they are better off being in a stable home without road trips. Any insight would be appreciated, she has been returned to the shelter three times now so if I take her there's no way I'd ever return her

strap covers or sleeping cap?

I'm switching to the Resmed P30i after wearing full face masks for the first year of my CPAP journey. I always wore a sleeping cap but with the way the P30i looks I'm questioning whether going with strap covers would be the more effective way to prevent hair breakage.

What are the grey arms made out of?

I have been wearing Resmed F20 and F40 but I need to switch to a nasal mask because I am having really bad lip issues with the full face. I am currently using my son's Dreamwear nasal pillow mask and am trying to figure out if the Resmed will fit me better but I'm wondering what the grey part down by where the pillow attaches is made out of. The Dreamwear is hollow and doesn't leave marks on my cheeks but I like the nasal prongs better on the Resmed. Can anyone help?

portable oxygen concentrator for bleed-in O2

I'm pretty sure I just failed my overnight oximetry test and will need to bleed O2 into my CPAP, for those of you that travel a lot is there a portable O2 concentrator that'll run with continous flow while plugged into a wall outlet? Before I started on CPAP I used a full size concentrator and dragged that huge piece of equipment with me when I traveled, I would like a smaller option if at all possible now that I'm dragging the CPAP and all its accoutrements as well

Lip issues with CPAP

Currently using an Airtouch F30i, previously used a plain F30i and an Airtouch F20 and my lips haven't liked any of the. My bottom lip is reacting the worst and has actually bled a few times. I am allergic to lanolin and beeswax. I've tried Vaseline even though you're not supposed to but I still wake during the night with my lips burning. My supply company and pulmonologist haven't been of any help.

Lip taping would probably be out considering how incredibly sensitive and sore my lips are right now, can anyone suggest a different barrier I could try?
