I heard someone mention evangelicalism’s relationship to fascism in passing a few weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. There’s no doubt that it’s a very authoritarian anti-democratic type of religion. Though I imagine most evangelicals would deny it, but if your goal is to proselytize and convert as many people as possible, then you don’t really believe in freedom, right? Honestly this is one of the main things that drove me away. I would be interested to hear other’s thoughts or suggestions for relevant materials.

Hello! I wonder if I could get some advice on a trip I am planning this winter. I am interested in visiting AnzaBorrego Desert SP and Joshua Tree and Death Valley NPs. I am wondering if there is a risk of driving through snow or on icy roads on the routes from and to San Diego for any of these parks. I would be grateful for any information anyone could provide.
