Running shoes advice

I'm beginning to take running more seriously. Been running consistently for the past year but low mileage like 15-20km/week. Currently, around 40km/week and hoping to slowly increase to 50k but my shoe game is weak.

I bought Ascis Gel-Kayano hastily at the recommendation of the store's sales person. Fitting seemed good at the store but this shoe hurts my feet bad. Blisters and pain in my toes. Tried different socks and ways to tie the laces but no dice. My fallback is eMart running shoes. They work pretty well but I think I'm starting to see their limitation with longer and/or faster runs.

TLDR:

Do you think if I go to a shop like running lab they would be able to correctly recommend decent shoes for me? Or I'd best research for myself.

I am a forefoot striker, slight supination. Heavier runner, 76-82 kg.

Thanks

Like Ives' The Unanswered Question

Please recommend me music similar to Charles Ives' The Unanswered Question - that is, long drawn-out poignant harmony.
Thank you.

Edit: Thank you for the recommendations. Please keep them coming.
