I just finished the anime and I loved it. I was actually torn apart when Nakamura cried after Hirose got a girlfriend.

But… a part of me wanted him to give up on hirosei to really develop his character and deal with his sexuality.

I loved that he didn’t even question if he was gay and he just knew it. You don’t really get to see that in most BL.

But I just think that it would be so interesting to see how Nakamura would grow up and be able to be more confident after giving up on hirose.

I kinda headcannon hirose to be aroace. And not interested in Nakamura that way, but I still will ship them lol

I want them to be happy, but… not together at the same time lmao.

I’ve been thinking about it so much. I really love OP but I also really liked Haikyuu. But what if we mixed it together? Like instead of luffy wanting to be the king of pirates he wants to be the king of volleyball. I even have potential positions for each member.

Luffy: middle blocker (sort of a mix of Hinata, tendou, and Bokuto)

Zoro/sanji: wing spikers, I think Zoro would be Ace bc upper body strength while sanji uses more technique

Usopp: setter bc perfect aim and he’s smart

Chopper: libero bc guard point and is smallest member

Franky/Jinbei: back wing spikers, both are solid and reliable

Brooke: pinch server, great a float serves bc he’s light

Nami/Robin: manager and assistant manager bc they are smart and Nami is good at money

I wanna make OP in haikyuu universe so baddd. Like add cannon events too. Ah and I need ideas on who should be in their training arc, I think it’s obvious to add law, kid, and the rest of the worst generations as volleyball teams.
