Trying to remember a spider humanoid race
I think they may have been from Dragon magazine, not Ettercaps but size Small spider humanoids that worshipped Lolth and had a common variety and I think a priestess caste. I just can't recall the name!

Amazon Kindle will let me know about upcoming or recent releases from all manner of authors, including ones I don't follow or have any interest in. But then there will be an author I not only follow, but search for weekly to see if anything new is out (erratic release schedule so there's rarely any warning beforehand) and I don't find out about the latest book until 2 DAYS AFTER IT CAME OUT! I could have been reading it this last Friday Amazon! Curse you!
Anyway, book 9 of Mackey Chandler's Family Law SF series is on my Kindle and being devoured now.
The first and only names to spring immediately to my mind are Mike Pondsmith and Steve Jackson. Who else would fit this roster?
I never knew much about it growing up, he just said he was a bomber pilot and that was it. I recently saw a YouTube video on the Mitchell and realized my grandfather wasn't flying high dropping bombs, he was down in danger strafing warships and enemy encampments! RIP Grandpa, I always knew you were a good man but I didn't know a tenth of it.
I'm in the U.S., comparable prices I've seen for similar conditions are $400 for the entire Encyclopedia Magica set (good, slight bending), $300 for the 4 (worn) Spell Compendiums (will also consider reasonable offers for the extra Volume 2), and $100 for the Rules Cyclopedia (original printing in great condition). Pics available on my profile. Prefer to sell as sets or all at once.
I'm having to severely downsize my physical media and also need the money. The Encyclopedias are in decent shape (slight cover bending), the Spell Compendiums are kinda beat up, and the RC looks practically new but came out of my collection I've had for decades.
