My child (8 years old) is in the process of transferring to a special needs school, and one of the better ones has an extremely strict "no nut-based foods" policy. As you can probably relate to, my child has only a few foods that they tolerate, one of them being peanut butter. A big issue is that they eat their sandwich first, and if there's no sandwich, they won't eat the rest of their lunch. Also, peanut butter is how we hide their medications. We need them to have a sandwich in their lunch.

We had this same issue in the past when our child was going to ABA, and I don't want to waste your time with our failed attempts and problems. Just know that I am looking for a non-nut sandwich spread that tastes exactly like peanut butter. No Biscoff sandwich spread, no marmite - I need a peanut butter substitute that can fool a child.

Any suggestions for non-peanut peanut butter are welcome. Thank you.

I heard a pop song playing in the background of an Instagram story (which is now gone), and all I caught were a snippet of lyrics:

*Stay close let the motions stay

No need to look away*

That's the closest I could tell as to what was being sung because it was playing in someone's room and slightly muffled. It's a pop song with a heavy bass line and a synthesized whistle (think Spice Girls' Say You'll Be There).

I have tried searching for these lyrics (and lyrics that were similar sounding) and came up empty. Any ideas?
