I am crazy to get the TLC QM8L over the Sony Bravia 7ii
I am looking to upgrade my current 77” LG C1 OLED tv in my home theater room. Because my seating distance is 13’ (3.96 meters) from the TV, I really wanted to upgrade to a 98” tv. In a perfect world, I would buy the LG 98” G6 OLED, but I am not paying $24K for a TV. I was about to pull the trigger on the Sony Bravia 7ii at 98”, if the Bravia 9ii was available in 98” I would buy that. HOWEVER, today I saw that the TLC QM8L is on sale at Best Buy for $3,999. For that price, I am seriously considering it. From everything I have read, the Sony 7ii is probably slightly better for movie watching…etc, but is it $5K better (the 7ii is currently $8,999)? I could buy 2 QM8Ls for the price of a single Sony. Will I regret my decision? What are everyone’s thoughts?
