I’m non-binary and in the process of transitioning, so I’m looking to change my very feminine name to something more gender-neutral/masculine. I’m Puerto Rican and I’d like to have a name with a Spanish origin to honor my heritage, but the reality of the situation is that Spanish is a very gendered language and I’m pretty bad at it so I don’t trust myself to come up with something lol. I’d also settle with a name with a Romance-language origin, but that’s a last resort.

My only real requirements besides the origin and gender are that it have a nickname option (I live in a predominantly white, English-only area as a minority, it’s inevitable lol). Preference wise, I like names with a V, L, or X in them, or that end in -ano (e.g. Emiliano, Cristiano, etc.). Still, I’m open to ideas.

I appreciate the help/reality check, if that’s what it ends up being!
