My first insect, have to figure out a better way to mount the subject so the stanchion does't show.

Trying to get a few last flower shots before the heat takes them completely.

More test shots using my new Canon RF 85mm Macro IS STM lens. Learning the nuances of this new lens.

A hastily thrown together photo using my new Canon RF 85mm F2 Macro IS STM lens on my Canon R50 body. As reported, the focus is a bit slow, however; the focus range limiter helps with this. I mainly shoot botanical so half macro is good for me.

Happy with the results so far!

A few more photos, I think I am getting good black backgrounds. My lighting needs improvement. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated!
