So NVDA reach back $235. But why Nvii not reaching back $30?
Anyone know why? It seem NAV not increasing as much.
NVII earning
I missed the .58 payout during earning period. Are we still seeing this next week?
Lets hit it together
Amex hotel collection
Amex the hotel collection is just sucks. I have hard time finding good hotel to use with the $600 credits. Most of time hotel are over priced when book myself or some will be equally the same.
Mermaiden Alaska - Seasick
Wow, the ship feels like it’s flying on this Alaska itinerary! The motion got so intense while I was eating at The Wake that I had to skip drinks tonight. I never got seasick on the Caribbean or Athens routes, but this one is hitting differently.

## [Data Point] Approved on 5th Chase Reconsideration Call for “Maxed Out Credit with Chase” (How to Shift Limits!)
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a successful Chase reconsideration data point for anyone who gets rejected with the reason: **“You do not have enough credit line to approve”** or **“Chase doesn't have additional credit line to offer.”**
When I first got this denial, I was incredibly confused. The underwriters didn't explain it well, other than vaguely mentioning I could try to "free up" some credit line.
For context, here was my Chase lineup before applying for the **United Explorer Card**:
### My Setup & Limits
* **Business:**
* Ink Business Preferred: $20,000
* IHG One Rewards Premier Business: $21,000
* **Personal:**
* Freedom: $7,000
* Freedom Unlimited: $4,000
* Amazon Visa: $25,000
* Sapphire (Downgraded): $1,500
### My Reconsideration Journey (The 5 Attempts)
* **1st Call:** The underwriter just repeated the denial reason and wasn't helpful. They suggested reducing my limits on either personal or business.
* *Action taken:* I proactively reduced **both** of my business card limits by $10,000 each.
* *Result:* Called back a week later and was **rejected**.
* **2nd Call:** I decided to reduce my personal Amazon card limit by $5,000.
* *Result:* Called back 2 days later and was **still rejected**.
* **3rd Call:** I tried to update my application over the phone by increasing my reported income by $20,000.
* *Result:* **Still rejected**.
* **4th Call:** Since the annual fee hit on my IHG Business card and I didn't need it, I closed the account entirely to free up exposure.
* *Result:* Called in and was **still rejected**.
### The Breakthrough (5th Call Success!)
Before my fifth call, I did some deep research and found out two crucial pieces of information:
- The United Explorer card has a minimum starting credit limit of **$5,000** (Visa Signature standard).
- You can explicitly ask the agent to **manually move available credit limits from your existing personal cards to fund the new application**.
I called back for the 5th time. I politely explained that I had tried multiple times, really needed the card because of upcoming United flights, and asked the agent if they could look across my entire profile to see if we could shift lines around.
**The Catch:** The rep noted he could shift limits from my Freedom and Sapphire cards, but **not** the Amazon card because it's a co-branded partnership.
**The Fix:** While on the phone, I logged into my Chase app and manually shifted credit from my Amazon card over to my Freedom cards to beef up their limits. The rep refreshed his system a few times, saw the new available space on the Freedom cards, and successfully initiated the transfer.
**Boom! Approved with a $5,000 limit on the United card!**
### Key Takeaways for HUCA (Hang Up, Call Again):
* **Don't just close cards or lower limits blindly.** It takes time to update, and it might not automatically trigger an approval.
* **Co-branded cards matter.** You usually cannot move limits *from* a co-branded card (like Amazon) directly to a different card family (like United) during recon.
* **Lead the agent.** Explicitly ask: *"Can we move $5,000 of my limit from Card X to open this new account?"*
Persistence pays off! Hopefully, this helps someone else fighting the Chase recon line.
