Adversarial games

This is probably a silly question but I can't always play games on my computer or a console because I've got a kiddo. I've been playing some free games on my phone but it often feels like I'm fighting the game itself to beat each level.

Let me clarify, the game isn't hard it just often won't give me what I need to complete the levels. (Obviously made like this so the devs can get you to pay for in game stuff)

Anyway, is there anyone that actually likes feeling like they're fighting the game or is it just crappy game design to get money?

Feels about right

I came across this the other day and it clicked in my mind that even though I'm going to look different on the outside I'm still myself on the inside.

Decided on a tattoo to represent my metamorphosis

Decided on and got a tattoo to represent my transition. I have yet to start hormones but put marked this as NSFW just in case. I love it and Dragonflies have been important to me since I was little, so it's meant as a nod to who I was while looking forward to who I'll become. Just wanted to share it since it makes me very happy 😁

The beginnings of my knight cosplay

Not a character, just been working on 3D printing, painting and aging a medieval knight sword and armor set for an upcoming Ren Faire.
