Long story short, I recently printed a board in resin using some STLs that resembled the GW stuff you can buy, it worked okay but the resin used became expensive and the quantity printed was very unhealthy (even when working safely), also I didn’t feel free enough to customise the terrain as it was all very detailed.

So I’ve built an STL set that will be totally FREE to download, it is much easier to assemble (not perfect) and works as a frame work to be creative on top of.

Here is the playable 3x3.5 foot board I’ve put together, it’s not finished, I have a lot of painting to do but it’s finally presentable. Once I’m happy and the board is finished I’ll post the STL files. Mostly missing rubble piles etc so it’s close.

My army is about to reach 2000 points. Just 12 minis left to paint and I’m going to put the army down for a while. It’s been fun and just as I reach the goal I set in January when I started painting I’ve also finished the mining encampment. Which is now available on my mini factory for free.

This will probably be my last Votann post, it’s been a blast but I’m shifting my 3D modelling focus to other things.

So here’s my almost fully painted army and matching terrain!
