Powercut is good for Pro-dam people of Arunachal Pradesh
By now we are all familiar with the Siang dam project controversy. Some people think this is good and most people think this is a bad idea as of now.
The anti-dam side strongly believes that the current government is incapable of carrying out or managing a project of this scale. This has been quite evident from the recent flash floods and its devastating effects across the state. Although flash floods are nothing new to Arunachal Pradesh, this time it's clear to the public the incompetence of the authorities to mitigate and prepare for natural disasters is getting out of hands. It's no coincidence that these turn of events are in favour of those who oppose the SUMP project.
Heatwaves have struck Arunachal Pradesh. The public is constantly being harassed due to frequent power cuts and brownouts. No one knows who is responsible for these shortcomings but this could potentially play as an excuse to support the SUMP project.
Take a listen to this conversation.
"Bhot dam ko oppose kar raha ta na? Abhi kyu halla karrai?"
"Ye power department ka failure hai. At least capital ka electricity toh theek hona hai laura."
"Tumluk ka waja se development nahi horai. Oppose karega aur development nahi horai bolega."
"Dam ko oppose karne ka bhot valid reason hai. Wese v Ranganadi dam se sufficiently power dena chahiye ta."
"Laura tum bhot jantai jesa baat mat karo."
"Accha tum jantai kya tabtoh laura?"
"Chup laura! Yaha garam se marne wala hai aur abhi v dam ko oppose karrai."
"Tumhara pass proof hai kya dam nahi banaya hai bolke esa problem horai?"
"Proof maangte raho aur ese garam se martey raho laura. Tumluk ka waja se horai esa"
"Tum laura khao na"
"Tumhara laura ko khaiga kya?"
" Benchut chikni putty"
As you have witnessed an intellectual exchange of words, we can all draw a lesson here: We are literally being cooked right now. Hogia nahane jaiga laura.
