Shouldn’t buses be Phone Free during commuter hours?

I used to take the train and we had this wonderful thing called a quiet car. When commuting at 7:30am the last thing most people want is someone blasting music or screaming in the seat behind them but I’ve come to find some folks see the morning commute as simply a reason to talk nonstop for a full hour+. Whether it’s convos with friends or more often a work meeting, they feel the need to make the bus their personal call center. To x out the noise of the bus they tend to speak loudly, often so loud that even noise canceling headphones fail to cut them out. I’ve wondered why buses don’t have stricter rules on using phones particularly for the entire 1 hour+ bus ride!!!

Maybe it’s just me but does anyone else think this should be an actual rule with signage in the bus reminding everyone?

Saviors should have been called “Look Ma, No Brains”

I’ve thought on this long and hard. It’s nearly impossible to criticize your favorite band of all time but Saviors has been such a torn experience for me. I love a lot of the songs and I can hear what should have been an absolute banger of an album yet, I often find myself skipping songs on this one. At points it just feels disjointed and without a true direction.

I sat down one night after seeing the “Look Ma, No Brains” single artwork and put together what I think Saviors should have been, an album called “Look Ma, No Brains” with this album cover and the following tack list

  1. The American Dream is Killing Me
  2. Look Ma, No Brains”
  3. Bobby Sox
  4. 1981
  5. One Eyed Bastard
  6. Goodnight Adeline
  7. Dilemma
  8. Living in the 20s
  9. Saviors
  10. Coma City
  11. Father to a son
  12. Strange days are here to stay
