Boro fan here : Southampton kicked out, Hull promoted, Southampton 6 point deduction for next season, no transfers allowed inwards, and a fine of their two parachute payments distributed evenly to all teams in the league.

The punishment needs to make it clear to everyone that messing with the integrity of the game will result in serious repercussions.

I think that is fair.

I don't think Steve Gibson will settle for that though. He wants blood now.

I think it is fairly obvious that their manager is a cheat. Any decent human would react and just say, "No, of course I am not a cheat! How dare you say that?".

They came, they spied, they cheated on 'who knows how many other occasions', THEY ASSAULTED OUR TEAM BUS FFS!! HOW COME NO-ONE IS SHOWING THAT???? The refereeing was awful, cast iron pen on 3 mins, game changer. The abuse of Ayling by their 'Captain'. The pathetic reaction of their manager to that information. Ayling has now dropped it because he is a decent person. The ballboy's behaviour!

It all just REEKS of a once good club gone bad.

Hopefully for Southampton it can all be turned around with a good old fashioned clear-out.
