the same thing, but done properly. Switching fastfetch between gentoo and nixos is now just a matter of moving the comment in home manager and rebuilding.

I recently learned that it's possible to arrange waybar in a similar arrangement to MATE, so I did. The top panel design was adapted from https://codeberg.org/Void98/Mango-Style which I originally found on reddit, but I can't find the comment so I could credit the reddit user, but this is probably better anyways. Also, this is my setup after using NixOS for 6 months. I don't really care if you take this post down, it's probably not meant to be here anyways.

the hostname keeps breaking, I assume changing it manually fixes it, but I'll do that later.

Edit: looked it up, it's hostnamectl set-hostname [hostname] for anyone else affected.

I don't feel like gatekeeping. Add &tbs=1 to the end of the URL, and you get the old one. I doubt this is new information, so I shouldn't be claiming credit, but I feel like the masses should know (to stop thinking about posting "define ignore" posts).
