Does anyone else genuinely feel bad for Kuminga?

I know he’s been problematic in the past but he was actually pretty good for us, especially in some of those Knicks wins.

His agent has fucked him over so bad, and all his suitors are slowly dwindling. I think the last team that could possibly pay him is the Lakers but that’s only if they cough up like Cameron Carr or something as a sweetener with Vanderbilt to some third team.

If nothing materializes, he could very well be playing on a minimum contract next year.

WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert says the league will meet next week to discuss and clarify what qualifies a player as a woman for WNBA eligibility, after a former NBA player decided to declare for the 2027 WNBA Draft.

ESPN Article

WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert sent a memo to teams that addresses ongoing discussions around transgender athletes in women's basketball.

"I know many of you have received questions in recent weeks regarding transgender athlete participation in women's basketball, and I expect this topic will continue to receive significant attention," Engelbert wrote in the memo, which was sent Friday afternoon and obtained by The Associated Press and ESPN. "I wanted to reach out to share how we are approaching these conversations at the league office and to thank those of you who have responded to questions from the media with thoughtfulness and professionalism."

The memo said the topic will be discussed further by a task force of team presidents and general managers at a previously scheduled meeting next week.

Whether you like the moves or not, isn’t it just fun having a GM who actually does shit?

Feels like every Shams notification is about the Hawks lol

From a Hawks fan: Risacher is an incredible young wing, with tons of upside.

Risacher may not be ready to contribute right away but with his length and 2-way abilities, he has the potential to be an incredible player long-term.

He has multiple 30+ point performances and incredible shooting nights from time to time.

I will say that you need to get him a good playmaking point-guard to maximize his strengths. Before Trae went down he was literally our best wing because of how well Trae set him up, and believe it or not he was ROTY runner-up.

Am I going insane, or is Dort and Daniels not a literal nightmare for opponents?

ppl in here freaking out and I get it, I loved Zacch too. But this isn’t just some “cost-cutting” move. There is clear upside to this trade, especially for a young team building this gritty identity.

Am I the only one who doesn’t want anything to do with Lebron?

I’m physically cringing at any of these Lebron suggestions. We’re not a 40yo Lebron away from contention. He would literally just come here for a season or so and just mess up the development trajectory, and then when he’s gone, we all of a sudden need to fill in a giant gap.

Like for GSW or some desperate team like that, I understand, but we’re a young team on a really good path, why disturb it?

Am I really alone on this?
