Anyone familiar with Nilfisk vacuums?
I'd love to learn more about them. I hear they're hand-in-hand with Windsor and Lindhaus but the only one I own is a Carpetriever 28 and I know that it's not exactly a good representation of their whole lineup.

Has anyone noticed how professional carpet cleaning companies tend to use low-grade residential units to pre-vacuum? I understand that main units can easily cope with the debris left behind by the cheap vacuums, but it still baffles me to see commercial cleaning companies using a dinky little shark labeled "professional" on the front that doesn't even have a three-prong cord. I try to find good pre-vacuuming content to see commercial vacuum cleaners in use but often come up dry. Anyone else notice this phenomenon?
I put on a central vacuum hose fitting on the end of a Filter Queen hose because I don't like their floor heads. I have some Sebo floor heads I interchange on a Kärcher machine anyway and love them. It took a lot of expertise to convert them over as I had to cut and solder the leads to convert from 4 prong to 2 prong internally. The results were exactly as I'd hoped.
This machine is an abomination. A motor from a Majestic and a cord from a Kirby (it's not even 20 feet so gauge isn't an issue) and now a Sebo floor head. It's hilarious and I love it.
I want to hook up a Filter Queen powerplant to a central vacuum nozzle fitting because filter queen floor nozzles are atrocious. It isn't nearly as straight-forward as I hoped.
I can't find any info online about this filter queen in my collection that has a cord rewind. The motor was liquefied and the cord was shot so I replaced them, but the machine ended up abandoned and now it's part of my collection. Any thoughts/info?
$10 a piece for Genuine Windsor brush rollers! How awesome!
