Hey everyone, I'm in Carmel for the weekend. Came to see a friend, didn't work out so well. Would very much like to watch fireworks at Carmelfest with someone (or some group). Army vet, very patriotic, hate the idea of being alone on the 250th.
Wondering if there are any old guys in here who remember the TR303 Kiowa boot. I bought 2 pairs when I left service in 2013, but they were too good, so I didn't need to replace the last pair until this year. Is there anything on the market now that feels the same or close to it?
I bought a pair of Belleville C320s (not yet delivered). I've been looking at the C333, but they seem to have a higher heel to toe drop. I want something relatively flat and low to the ground. I don't like the Mini-Mil or Tachyon, because the soles seem flimsy.
Doing medium weight ruck marches and somewhat steep/rocky hikes. I would strongly prefer to stay with a military boot, if possible.
