Just an FYI to other fans. Bought this t-shirt Friday night at the Toronto show, didn't wear it, washed it inside out today (cold), and hung it up to dry and noticed yellow flecks all over the shirt. Compared it to merch booth photos and confirmed the distressed look is not what it's supposed to look like.

Not sure if they used the wrong kind of paint or what, but pretty bad results from a single wash. Nothing else in my laundry was out of the ordinary, including another brand new tour t-shirt from a different band.

Has anyone installed a permeable driveway, e.g. PurePave (https://purepave.com), permeable asphalt, permeable interlocking, etc?

Especially something like PurePave, I can find examples online from the few companies that do it (Dream Pave seems to be the big one in the GTA - https://dreampave.ca), but very little real world experiences shared from Canada and our winters.

I'm designing a small kitchen right now and I want to get a sanity check on the island.

The plan right now is a small L-shaped kitchen with a island for extra counter space and to divide kitchen from dining area. There isn't enough wall space to work with (windows) otherwise I would've done a peninsula.

I'm planning on wooden cabinets (maybe natural cherry - a mid tone), dark soapstone countertops, and a green tile backsplash. Existing window trims are also wood.

Would it be crazy to get a "butcher block" (really just wood countertop) island with black/dark green cabinets instead of just matching soapstone plus cherry/whatever? I love the idea of a wooden surface to work with but I don't want an overwhelming amount of wood. Not settled on flooring yet either. The island would be solid and continuous, NO sink or stove.
