I’ve come back to the game after finishing it at launch, and I’ve recently been experiencing some controller issues that I didn’t have before. I mostly notice it when scrolling through items, skills, or menus - every few button presses results in a double input. Sometimes a completely different button is triggered than the one I pressed.

It’s definitely not a controller issue, since it works perfectly in other games. I also found two other posts mentioning the same problem, so it’s not just me, but I haven’t found any solution yet.

Has anyone experienced this and managed to fix it? I’m using the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C. This happens only in Nioh 3.

I’m around floor 15 in the Underworld, and the game only feels manageable for me with fists or tonfas. I’ve tried using other weapons to mix it up, but they all feel so slow compared to those two.

Are all weapons viable in the Underworld and this is just a skill issue, or are fists and tonfas generally much easier?

I finished the game a while ago and left New Game Plus for later, and now I’m thinking about going back. In Nioh 2, I never used the Stone of Penance, and since it was recently added to Nioh 3, would it be a good idea to use it right away for better loot (I’m not really sure how it works)?

Nioh 3 wasn’t that difficult for me overall, aside from a few bosses, so the increased difficulty should be fine.

I’m about 20 hours in and really enjoying the game. I love exploration and this one seemed promising at first - enjoyable combat, tokens to find, and chests hidden in houses or hidden in corners.

The problem is that there’s almost never anything interesting in them. I just collect items, sell them, and buy new equipment if there’s anything. I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I don’t see much use in like 90% of the items. Of course, I use and craft some potions and keep materials needed for upgrades, but the rest feels kind of pointless. I’m still having fun exploring for now, but I’m worried it’ll get boring soon.

I’m planning to uncover the whole map as a some sort of goal, since the quests seem pretty short and not that interesting anyway. For those who enjoyed the game, especially the exploration aspect, how did you approach it?
