1800s House Painting

Just tried to post this but guess it didn’t go through because it’s not for me - but proud of this painting that’s quite different than my latest work! Much of it was challenging so I’m proud of it for now!

Is sudden onset IC a thing?

Hello all - doctor thinks I have IC but I’m not so sure.

I had a hysteroscopy without anesthesia in December. that was the worst. I was clenching and crying the whole time. Diagnosed with endometritis and a polyp and given doxycycline.

I bled for about two weeks after and once I finished the doxycycline, I had the urge to pee constantly. Bladder pain, almost an icy hot feeling. It’s been on and off at various pain levels since then and I’ve had multiple tests for UTIs including the Microgenx and I have no UTI or vaginal infection. I was on Slynd for 2.5 months starting in February and stopped because they made my symptoms incredibly worse and I bled half the time I was on it. I am in physical therapy now for a hypotonic pelvic floor, but treatment has seemed ineffective.

I stopped the Slynd last Sunday and ally symptoms went away. After PT for my hip, lower back and pelvic floor on Tuesday I had bad back pain on my left and it has now gotten worse and my bladder symptoms have come back (cramping, feeling like I need to pee but mainly just pain). I had IBS pain today too so now my muscles near my pubic bone just feel like they’re on fire.

I’ve been to my PCP, psychiatrist, urologist, gyn and physical therapist several times over past five months now with no answers. I am miserable and feel like I can’t leave the house when I feel like this but I have a child to care for and ultimately my mood has tanked back to a depressed state.

Has anyone had anything like this happen? Thanks so much in advance.

Hello! Looking for ideas / advice for our concrete slab porch. House was built in 1969 and came with a red carpet on the front porch. I tore it up as it was moldy and falling apart and discovered red paint underneath a .125” or so thick layer of carpet glue that has so far not come off with solvent, heat or grinders. The concrete has also sank and has some cracks and chunks coming out along the surface against the wall, but the slab itself remains level and pretty much one piece.

I was gonna patch the concrete and give up the idea of a nice solid concrete look to putting tile on over the glue. However my neighbor mentioned I could also skim coat it with concrete instead? Don’t know if anyone here has had any similar experiences or any advice. Thanks!

Beginning of my “Up in the Air“ mini cloudscape series while I figure out what I’m actually doing 🙃 Hoping to knock out 20 in total but we’ll see how I do!
