Been a while since I've drawn Riddle Steph. Still dig the concept of Stephanie taking the Riddler mantle just to spite Bruce [and her father], all the while secretly informing and helping the Batfam in dealing with her new "allies". She doesn't make it easy, still insisting on using riddles to inform Bruce about other criminal's next move, and isn't great at communicating what her goals are, leading to conflicts between herself and la familia.

Owelia is not, has not or probably never will be a true believer in Mr. House's vision for the future. But she is desperate enough for a father(ish) figure to give her the recognition that her previous one neglected to give her. It's why she brought Lily with her as her companion; she wants some kind of family.

House, begrudgingly, tolerates Owelia's weird attachment to him; even if it is unprofessional for the workplace. She follows orders, and gets what he needs done done far better than Benny could. A bit different from my normal Maddie au stuff, an idea I've been sitting on for a but now: Maddie as Bandit from Risk of Rain 2.

It's kind of a match made in hell, tbh. Bandit's skills revolve around duplicity, getting extra damage from shooting enemies from behind, sneaking around and just being an all around trickster. Like our beloved Maddie.

Also, I've really wanted someone to port Maddie's Teamfight Tactics model into RoR2 for a skin for Bandit. Again, it would be so awesome and perfect.

Time has finally come, crossroads; which Maddie takes over Maddie Mondays?

McMaddie the fast food drone, with her unrequited crush on Vi, terrible boss and potential cannibal tendencies?

Dr. Maddie Nolen, the definite cannibal psychiatrist with a more mutual thing witn Vi?

I haven't drawn or written anything for the Doc in a bit, and while she's definitely one of my favorite characters I've written for, I feel as though I've hit a bit of a wall with her. She's better suited for tighter, more structured story, and I'm not sure I have the energy to do her that kind of justice with my art.

Still, again, I adore her characterization and design.

On the other hand, McMaddie fast food drone allows me to be more creative with my characterizations of these idiot dorks, and due to the looser structure, I'll have the ability to draw a variety in the content. Could be funny, dramatic, long form, single images, etc.

Unfortunately, my plans for an overall narrative are basically none existent. Like, I have a rough idea of what I want to do with Maddie's story, but aside from that? It's mostly me winging it as far as my broader plans go.

There's something immensely satisfying about using a missile launcher in New Vegas. Yeah, it's cumbersome, expensive and not a *great* all rounder, but it just hits different.

Maddie and Vi, the two main grunts at their restaurant, have a lot of time to hangout and kill time (something about the manager shooting at poor customers, amongst other things, means that the location is pretty quiet most of the time).

One of my friends sent me an edit of Maddie (they didn't give a source) as a fast food grunt, so I made fanart of the idea.

Maddie's the cook, Vi is thd cashier, Cait's the manager. They all work at the lowest preforming location in the country. Maddie "might" be putting parts of annoying customers in the meat; at least it's locally sourced.

Long story short, my almost decade old laptop's screen is on the fritz 😢 (I use it to check emails and play my older games like Fallout and Star Wars Battlefront 2 2005), so I'll have to reinstall New Vegas on my newer laptop I got last year when I'm finished moving this weekend. I'm toying with the idea of installing TTW, but want to know a few things before I do:

Does TTW feel extremely different to base New Vegas? (Is it going to be a jarring experience to someone who's been playing NV for almost 10 years now?)

Do any weapons feel nerfed due to rebalancing? (Either due to them being weaker than before, or not being able to keep up with the weapons that were made better.)

Are there any builds/ perks that feel nerfed or buffed? (Is a no luck, no crit shotgun with shotgun surgeon + and stay back build viable, or are crits a necessity for harder difficulty? Do explosives builds still feel satisfying?)

Is the Black Mountain shortcut still a thing early game? (I like heading to Vegas early without bring brained by Super Mutants at lvl 1.)

Is it awkward story or balancing wise going from New Vegas to Fo3? (Does finishing or being in the end game if NV, then going over to 3 throw off the scaling? Does the main story feel weird given how a key part of 3 is finding the Lone Wanderer's dad, and the Courier is not them?)

How would you rate your overall TTW experience? (Is it worth it?)
