I really, really love the insight that Brombal has about Steph: "Then there's Batgirl. She's not the strongest or the fasters of the Bats, nah -- she's the one everybody underestimates, making that her greatest asset. And when you can't get Oracle, you best get the hacker that Oracle hand-trained... Each Titan from their own world but needing a sense of belonging, a place to grow. Each with the same hubris that the young have in spades...the belief that they can save the world."
Detective Comics #647 published August 1992 by Chuck Dixon and Tom Lyle.
Last year I read through the 90s robin run and was so bad at how Batman treated her. I was also mad that a whole crossover event happened cus writers wanted to make her look stupid and fridge her.
So I’m asking has Batman ever on the page apologized for how he treated Steph?
She was very important to Stephanie in the pre-Flashpoint continuity, especially in her Batgirl run. However, Crystal's last appearance in the comics was eleven years ago (Batman Eternal #42 in early 2015) and she's rarely been acknowledged since - even fans tend to forget she exists.
