UR-1 late 6th anniversary.

UR-1 late 6th anniversary.

Good evening, everyone. I know the date of the UR-1 incident already passed, but I'd figure I'd post this anyways, just to get my story out there. With this being one of the two incidents that caused the Dark age of the law, and with the recent trial where Famous Defense Attorney Kristoph Gavin, was found out to have murdered two people, id figured I'd share my own experience with the UR-1 incident.

My name is Neil Collins. I'm a mechanic for the Cosmo Space Center. I worked on Rocket ships and the robots, and have been for 9 years, will be 10 next year. I was at the space center when that awful murder occurred. It was 6 years ago, but I can still remember much of it.

It was a normal day at the center. Everyone was so excited about the the Hat-1 Launch, myself included. (Just to clarify, im not in the picture above, of the Hat-1 Team. I just put it there so the post wouldn't be one big wall of text.) Anyways, it was around 3 or 4 PM when the police came, and we all learned about Ms Metis Cykes murder. It was so shocking.

Everyone knew Ms Cykes very well, and it was very shocking and sad when we gained the knowledge of her murder, especially who the main suspect was; Simon Blackquill, who was a prosecutor, and Ms Cykes student.

The murder itself was very bloody and horrible. The photo of her body on the robot repair table still gives me chills everytime I look at it. Ms Aura Blackquill, who was the main engineer on the robots, and Ms Cykes work partner, was deeply affected by her death, and since then, she's become more bitter, and cynical.

But the one person I felt for the most, was Ms Cykes daughter, Athena.

I saw her after the murder, when the police came, and she was covered in blood. Poor kid must've saw the whole thing. That's something no kid should ever experience. Anyways, i went to Simon's trial for my own curiosity. He was declared Guilty, of course. Pretty much all the evidence pointed to him. He was sentenced to death, (which his execution date, is next year in December, just realized that.) But the strangest thing happened during the trial.

Athena was called to the stand, and, while I was watching from the gallery, she said the following:

"Please! You have to listen to me!"

"He didn't kill her! His heart is screaming that he didn't kill her!"

I had no idea what she meant, at the time at least. I could also tell that the defense, the prosecution, and the judge couldn't either. I was pretty sure she was just in denial. Because, Simon was Ms Cykes student, im pretty that meant he was close with Athena, and that they were friends, and due to that, Athena just couldn't accept that her friend murdered her mom. It was honestly so upsetting to me, and I could tell the other people in the gallery were feeling the same. Eventually, Athena was taken away from the stand, still crying out Simon's innocence.

That brings me to today. 4 days, after the murder's anniversary. I'd figured I'd share my experience here. That murder still gives me chills everytime i look back on it. Sometimes I still wonder: what if Mr Blackquill was Innocent? What if Athena was telling the truth? If I'm remembering correctly, Athena had some kind of condition where she could hear people's emotions, or something like that. Maybe that's why she thought Simon was Innocent? Because Simon was feeling sad and depressed over Ms Cykes death? I'm still not sure.

I'll stick around a little bit to answer any questions or comments you may have, sorry for the long read. (If there are also any typos, I apologize as well.) But who knows? Maybe with Phoenix Wright potentially getting his Lawyer's badge back, maybe he'll reopen the case, and find the truth? Maybe, that new lawyer Apollo will also help out? Only time will tell....

What kind of music do you think Tim listens to?

Me personally, i love to think Tim is a big Green Day fan, and his favorite album is American Idiot.

[Discussion] Which version of Black Hand do you prefer?

The classic Campy, 4th wall breaking, Silver age villain, or the twisted, psychopathic, Necrophillac murderer and leader of the Black Lantern Corps?

Me personally, as someone who only read his modern portrayal, i really like Modern Black Hand. I really like how Johns took a silly villain, and turned him into an actual threat.

Darkside Chronicles has my favorite artstyle in the whole series.

Idk if it's just me, but i love this artstyle. I liked how slightly anime it looked, if that makes any sense. I enjoy the RE engine as well, but there's just something charming about this artstyle that the series had back in the 2000s- 2010s that I really enjoy.

Edit: also, I don't know if anyone noticed this, but Darkside Chronicles Annette looks kinda similar to how Sherry looked in RE6.

Operation Raccoon City had some great character designs.

Regardless of how fans feel about the game itself, I personally thought the character designs in this game were very well done. My personal favorites are Leon, Nikolai, Carlos, Tyrant, and U.S.S. Delta Team.
