Jura E8 EB loosing water

Hi there,
I recently got a used Jura E8 EB (Gen 2) from my workplace, but unfortunately, I seem to have a small leakage problem.
Whenever I insert the water tank, water leaks somewhere between the tank and the water intake connection inside the machine. The water seems to be leaking on the outside of the machine, and there is no water or leakage inside the machine itself.
I’ve already checked the mesh filter and the rubber seal on the water intake connection. Both look fine to me, and I’ve also cleaned them thoroughly.
The water tank itself looks fairly new and doesn’t seem to be damaged.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any idea what might be causing the leak? Could it be a faulty seal or something wrong with the water intake valve?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Rustler 9 feels too cumbersome - should I go narrower?

Hi everyone,
Last year, after doing quite a bit of research (unfortunately without being able to demo them first), I bought a pair of Blizzard Rustler 9s in 180 cm. I’m 180 cm tall and consider myself an advanced skier. Since the Rustler has quite a bit of rocker, sizing up was generally recommended.

Overall, I’ve enjoyed the skis so far, but I have to admit that I haven’t been blown away by them either. I’ve definitely noticed some disadvantages compared to the skis I was used to before, mainly carving-oriented rental skis.

Another thing I’ve realized is that, although I really like skiing powder and thought I wanted a ski that would be good for it, the reality is that I simply don’t get that many opportunities to ski proper powder. I ski exclusively in the Alps, and the amount of genuinely deep, good powder days I actually encounter is much lower than I had imagined.

What bothers me most about the Rustlers is that they feel quite heavy and somewhat cumbersome to me. I also feel like they provide relatively little edge grip and confidence on hard, icy and steep slopes.
In hindsight, I’m also wondering whether I should have gone for the 174 cm version instead. I’m not sure how much that would actually change the characteristics of the ski, though. I imagine it might make them feel a little less cumbersome and easier to handle.

Overall, I think I may have fallen into the trap of buying a ski based more on what I imagined I would ski, rather than what I actually ski in reality.

Given that I spend most of my time on-piste in the Alps, I’m starting to think that something narrower, perhaps around 88 mm underfoot, might suit me better.

So my question to you guys is: Which skis should I definitely put on my demo list next time?

I’d be particularly interested in skis that still have some versatility for occasional off-piste/powder days, but are noticeably better on hard snow, steep slopes and groomers than the Rustler 9.

First camping fridge

Hey there,
I am currently looking into buying our (small family with 1 kid) first compressor fridge for camping with a tent for 3 to 6 days.

Around 20l should be find for just the important stuff like meat and milk products.

I am thinking about the dometic CFF 20 and CFF 18 but can't find much information about them comparing to each other. They seems so close to each other from the technical view. Yeah the form and handles are different but the rest seems to be nearly the same or am I wrong?

I would appreciate if anyone might used both and could enlighten me about these two :)

It seems that there was a older CFF 18 version and the one I am referring to is rather "new".

Thanks in advance,
Greetings
