Nobody talks about how weird it is to suddenly realise your parents were just winging it the whole time.

I used to think adults had everything figured out. Then I became one. Now I’m making it up as I go, just like they were. Just like everyone is. In this fast paced, Rat race. Somehow that’s both terrifying and deeply comforting.

Does anyone else feel like the years are going faster and faster?

When I was younger, summers felt endless.

Monday comes, I blink and it’s somehow Sunday again. Then suddenly it’s another year gone.

It genuinely feels like life speeds up the older you get. it’s a weird feeling I can’t fully explain.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Does anyone else feel like life changed after 2020 and has never fully gone back?

Not even in a dramatic way. Just feels like everyone’s more tired, disconnected, anxious, financially stressed, less trusting… like people are surviving instead of living. I miss when life felt lighter.

Or maybe I’m just getting older. Anyone else feel this?

Feels like the hardest moments in life usually teach the biggest lessons. What’s something you had to learn the hard way that genuinely changed the way you see people or life?
