Either I have a knack for spotting swainson’s hawks w/in half a mile of my work, or I keep seeing the same one up close! Pretty boy. Apologies for potato photo, but I humbly only have said potato to take bird pictures with.
Saw this beauty on my way to work, pulled over for a quick potato photo.
20 minutes after someone with a fancy camera told me how disappointed he was in all the geese he could care less about, this fella landed on the north end of the pond and posed for me for a bit.
If that’s not at least a little bit adorable, you might be dead inside.
This beauty let us get quite close for a look before he took off. Got to watch him fish a bit, too!
