Can I Use Glycolic Acid on Sensitive, Dust-Exposed Skin??

Hey everyone,

I’m thinking of trying glycolic acid for my face. I’ve heard it helps with skin texture, de-tanning, and overall brightness, which is exactly what I need right now.

A bit about my skin/situation:

- My skin is pretty sensitive. I don’t even use makeup because most products break me out.

- I live in Karachi, so between the heat, dust, and pollution, my skin tone has gotten darker over time.

- If I forget to wear a mask outside, a pimple usually pops up the next day.

I just want something that can help with the dullness and tanning without wrecking my sensitive skin.

For anyone using glycolic acid

  1. Did it work for sensitive skin?

  2. Any tips for starting out in a hot, dusty environment like Karachi?

  3. Should I avoid it completely given how reactive my skin is?

Would really appreciate advice from people who’ve actually used it. Thanks!

What the hell happened to Gen Alpha? Born 2003 here, and it’s wild to see the difference

I’m 22, born 2003. I’ve been watching kids born after 2010 and honestly I feel like I’m from a different planet compared to them.

When we were in school, even small stuff mattered. If my book fell down, I’d pick it up and kiss it before putting it back. If my shoe accidentally touched someone’s bag, I’d say sorry 10 times. We had respect for books, for elders, for teachers for small things.

Now? These kids don’t give a shit.

Book falls on the floor they step over it. Someone older is talking they’ll just ignore it and keep playing on their phone like no one’s there. If you tell them something it goes in one ear and out the other. No fear, no respect, nothing.

And the curiosity is dead. We used to ask “how does a computer work?”, “why does the fan rotate?”, “what’s inside the TV?”. We were annoying with questions.

These kids? All they know is “main aloo hoon re, main tamatar hoon re” reels and trends. That’s it. Ask them anything outside that and you get a blank face. They don't even know how to use a computer and how to create an email.

What went wrong in these 7-8 years? Is it phones? Parents? YouTube shorts killing attention span?

I’m not saying my generation was perfect, but at least we had basic respect and curiosity. Now it feels like I’m talking to a wall.

Anyone else born in early 2000s feeling the same? Or am I just becoming the “back in my day” at 22.
