I have to say that the first 300 miles has been great. Breakfast runs, playground hopping, ice cream shops,....mundane outings have been made exciting. Thanks to this subreddit for being a great resource.
Thanks in advance for any input. My local bike shop has a two gen3 in stock a p00 for 6999 and demo gen 3 s10 with clubhouse, foot decks and transporter rack for 7250. I was shopping for a p00 all along for the belt drive but the demo at that price is eye catching. I live in a pretty flat suburb in the Midwest so hills are not a big issue. It’s mostly going to be a park and ice cream shop hopper with my two kids. I know most people prefer the belt drive but any advice if the s10 is better at the price?
Had an hour before work so I tested a new jdm Daiwa freams 2500 paired with a tatula medium rod. Not sure if there’s much of a difference between the jdm freams vs us freams but even with tariffs, it’s still cheaper than buying local.
