Is this a new feature or has this always been here? Because it’s a game changer

I’m talking about the presets for the rumble mode. Testing this last night with warhammer 40k rogue trader, a game with ZERO haptic feedback or rumble, I was able to get vibrations during combat when I attacked or got hit and nothing else. Meaning the music wasn’t making my controller vibrate.

Did they finally figure out a way to make only the sound effects in game vibrate the controller and not the music itself?

This game nails it every possible way for me except for one thing

I don’t know why Owlcat insists on SO many abilities that are just buffs, when I level up, getting like 20 percent initiative while teammate is adjacent to you and behind cover is the least exciting shit possible.

Where are the cool moves to get? I had chain lightning from a staff I got in the opening hour and there hasn’t been a single thing like that since. I’m a psyker and the best thing I can do is snap my fingers and burn someone? Where are the moves? I’m 45 hours in, I should have something like that by now right?

Even wrath of righteous, which is bound by dnd rules where this game is not, has a good amount of cantrips and unique attacks to pull off semi early on. I’m missing that here.

It sucks because everything else about this game is top notch. The vibe, the writing, the story, the characters, just combat feels dull because of the above.

The Witcher But Instead of Gwen’s Geralt Sells Weed

Gothic Remake. But damn if they didn’t try to make Geralt again. Face and voice. And hair. Not even subtle.

Got hired last week, couldn’t get through onboarding because expert email didn’t work. Was told to sit tight, off boarded and contract terminated last night

And incredible display of incompetence. You hire thousands of workers at an insanely high wage, tell them they have a 40/hr per week job, life changing money, share social security and everything, then you provided exactly 0 amount of work and then end the project and pay people nothing in the process.

An absolute embarrassment and a disgusting way to treat people. Project leads were equally awful to people too. Just a terrible experience from top to bottom.

Look, I get you were inspired by Boneworks but I’m sorry, starting out a game in a factory or lab or something similar being forced to do menial tasks with little direction is just not remotely fun. I almost uninstalled during the “find the correct package segment.” Can people realize that in VR, if you’re making a big epic action game, that action has to be found very fast. Tutorials suck in general but in VR they are dealbreakers. Can someone making VR games have an original thought? Oh yeah megazon, wow so subtle. You really made an impactful point there.

It took about 25 minutes for anything interesting to happen and then you go through the portal and are greeted by a mostly naked woman with some of the worst dialogue I’ve ever seen. I guess this is supposed to be a parody of a game but holy shit it’s bad.

Also voice acting. The main character, dude, pick an accent. Or better yet, hire an actual voice actor for your heavily voiced game because in the credits, you can see they hired the freakin sound designer to voice him! It makes everything sound so painfully bad.

Finally the combat is weak as hell and in the opening section they actually expect you to listen to lore dumps despite the fact they already told you they don’t give a shit about taking this experience remotely seriously.

Had some high hopes here but again, ruined immediatley by a painfully bad opening and only got more mediocre from there.

Some VR dev out there. Please. Save us. This is not what we’re looking for.
