Dose increase anxiety

Ive been on 25 mg for a month and im going to start 50 mg but im so scared! Is the increase going to make me feel the same as when I first started the med a month ago? Bc it was a lil rough 🙃 my doc says no, but I’m not convinced.

What dose works for you

I’m just curious I’m not taking medical advice from Reddit 😆
I’m on 25 mg right now and going to probably increase in a week. I feel maybe 10% difference.

Need encouragement..

I’m only 2 weeks in on a baby dose. I’ve been on fluvoxamine before, years ago but it’s been a while. I’m having a tough day and I’m also on my cycle. Please someone tell me it’s just the meds and they will balance out in a few weeks. Or tell me anything encouraging. I miss my real self. That’s the whole reason I got on this med bc I’ve been working so hard in therapy and I just need a nervous system break. (OCD makes me agoraphobic but I’m not normally like this)

Does anyone have agoraphobia but no panic attacks?

I literally don’t think I’ve ever had a panic attack in my life. I’m always been scared of them. I just get uncomfortable anxiety that makes me want to escape. But I see a lot of people struggling with ag have panic attacks. I have OCD so my brain is scared I will eventually have one but I never do.

Does anyone else have “on and off” agoraphobia?

My agoraphobia is triggered by certain OCD themes. And when I’m in a flare, that’s when I struggle. Otherwise, I’m fine. I love traveling, going to Disney, being out and about shopping, all the things normal agoraphobic people don’t do. However for the past year and a half I struggle even going into a store. It’s SOOOO frustrating. Like how can I be fine one year and down the next?
I will say overall I am okay. It’s just frustrating. There was a period I didn’t drive or go alone anywhere for years and now I do that daily. So just know, it DOES get better.
