her???? Not only is she on the phone and talking through the speaker so everyone hears but the speaker volume is way up.

I fly Iberia several times a year from and to Los Angeles and NYC and within Europe. More often than not there is a gate change. Often more than once and often back and forth between the same two gates. It can’t be solely the airports because I don’t experience this to this extent with other carriers out of the same airports. I personally think Iberia is an ok airline except for the incredibly slow refunds and return of miles but am always baffled by these frequent gate changes. While the food is often not great and the planes are often too warm the on board crew is usually very very good.

It’s now going on a month since I canceled an Iberia flight using Avios and my miles still haven’t been returned. It was for a business class seat that I usually pay for. It’s taking so long to get my miles back that I’m wondering if they just deliberately delay so the clock keeps ticking on your time to use the miles before they expire. They used to be better about refunding miles. Now it’s like hey Iberia have you heard that most good airlines allow you to cancel your flight and get your miles back immediately on this thing called the internet instead of Iberia not even allowing you to cancel on line? You literally have to call them to cancel the flight (at least if it is from the U.S.) and then wait for them to process the request and get your miles back as well as a partial credit card refund for the taxes and fees. It’s like they never heard of the internet and apps.

I fly Iberia business between the U.S. and Madrid several times a year. Generally speaking it’s no better and no worse than other airlines. Where it really falls short is in two areas. My company usually pays for the flights. However this last time we used miles. Whereas many airlines you can cancel a miles flight online and get your miles back right away on Iberia you have to call them. I used to get miles back this way pretty quickly. This time it had been almost two weeks and I still don’t have my miles back. Also they tend to keep the air pretty low so if you are flying during the day the side of the plane facing the sun can get very warm. I advise bringing a small travel fan.

I’m in my 6th week of recovery from triple bypass and was doing really well. Then extreme constipation hit likely from all the pills. I took a few suppositories on different occasions at my doctors office’s recommendation but then also the collace hit which is a stool softener and I have diarrhea. Not the kind that you have to run to the bathroom every few minutes but the kind that often when you eat you have to go to the bathroom shortly thereafter a few or several times and it is diarrhea. I have a call into my doctors office and should hear back tomorrow. I’m not on Oxy or any pain meds except Tylenol but I know some of the others meds can also cause constipation which is where I fear I will wind up again after the diarrhea subsides. Any else have this problem with the two extremes and what did you do? Thanks.
