I got BCD this May/June. I knew I would get bad grades and retake all of my subjects this October/November 2026, so I’ve been studying throughout the whole summer.

I’m targeting HK universities as well as CUHK Shenzhen. I’m also taking a full A Level Chemistry this May/June. I thought getting 4A*s would at least get me a full-tuition scholarship at HK universities, but I’ve seen people with better stats than me who still didn’t get any scholarship.

I’m super anxious, and I don’t even know if retaking everything is worth it anymore.

I have good extracurriculars, including some national awards. I also got AAB in my AS Levels

Just found this on the website: “Only very limited scholarships are available. Incomplete applications without all necessary documents will NOT be reviewed. The deadline for submitting a qualifying English language proficiency test result is May 21, 2027. No conditional offer will be made in this round.”

I am taking some of my A2 level subjects this oct nov season. I thought of applying early in Nov. Since no conditional offers are made, should i apply for a regular round?

Is being a retake student lowers my chances of getting a full scholarship? I screwed my A2 level due to health issues and got ABC but rn have predicted 4A*s (added FM). What are my chances guys. Intl student (Sat 1560, IELTS 7.5, decent ECs)

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone has taken Cambridge A-levels as a private candidate before.

I’m considering retaking some A-level subjects during a gap year, but I’m not sure which schools/exam centres allow private candidates here or what the process is like.

If anyone has experience with:

- registering as a private candidate,

- exam fees,

- which schools accept external students,

- or how retakes work in Mongolia,

I’d really appreciate any advice or information. Thank you.
