Android feature to enable WireGuard faster

This morning, I just discovered a pretty cool feature on my phone (Magic OS) for anyone who frequently accesses their LAN using a WireGuard VPN. It’s the same on my girlfriend’s phone (Xiaomi), so I imagine it works on all Android devices with a few minor adjustments. Control Center. ---> Edit shortcuts. ---> WireGuard icon.

I have no idea if I was the only one who didn’t know about this—it’s going to change my life now—so I thought I’d share it. Have a great day, everyone!

Bitwarden app certificate issue with self-hosted Vaultwarden

Hello, I apologize in advance for any inconsistencies—I’m using a translator.

I’m using Vaultwarden on my Raspberry Pi, and I wanted to set it up on my phone using the Bitwarden app, but I’m getting the following error message: “We were unable to verify the server’s certificate. The certificate chain or your device’s proxy settings may not be configured correctly.” So I used `mkcert` to create a trusted certificate using my SSL certificates for HTTPS and installed the `ca.crt` file on my phone, but I’m still getting the same error.

Here’s my setup: a Raspberry Pi 4 with 8 GB of RAM running Vaultwarden.

For HTTPS, I’m using Nginx on a specific port because several apps run over HTTPS on the same IP address, and I can’t configure local DNS at the moment.

Is there an alternative to Bitwarden on mobile?

If you have a solution or any suggestions, thanks in advance.

Edit: I finally got it to work. I had set up my SSL certificate incorrectly. For anyone who might stop by here someday and need this, I’m using Nginx as a reverse proxy. In the SSL configuration, I generated the .crt and .key files as usual, but I had never specified the SAN. Here’s the OpenSSL command: `openssl req -nodes -x509 -sha256 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout vaultwarden.key -out vaultwarden.crt -days 365 -subj “/C=XX/ST=XX/L=XX/O=XX/OU=XX/CN=IP_Machine” -addext “subjectAltName = IP:IP_machine”

Change only the `IP_Machine` part; if that doesn’t work, change the `XX` parts.

Then download the `.crt` file to your phone and install it in your settings in the location where you can install trusted certificates.

i3 10100f CPU for firewall and IPS

Hello,I'm trying to build a machine to run a firewall and an IPS on, and I'm wondering if an i3 10100F CPU would be up to the task. I'm in France, and it doesn't cost much. Sorry I'm using a translator to write this.

Waze on a Raspberry Pi 4 with 8 GB

I'm new to the Raspberry Pi. I was wondering if Waze would work on a Raspberry Pi 4 with 8 GB of RAM, and how it would determine my location and connect to the internet. I was thinking of installing Waze on lineage os, connecting to the Internet via my phone’s tethering, and using a GPS module for the Raspberry Pi to track my location. If you have other solutions that might work better, I’m a bit lost.

PS: Sorry about the consistency if it's bad, I'm using a translator
