I’m 16 and building a free tool to help people quit addictions. Need some honest feedback on features!

Hey everyone,

I'm a 16yo from India and I've been working on a side project recently. It's basically a progress tracker and companion app to help people who are trying to quit addictions and fix their habits.

I’m at the point where I need to figure out what features actually matter to people, so I figured Reddit would be the best place to ask for some real feedback.

What I’m trying to build:

A clean streak/day tracker that doesn't feel depressing if you relapse.

Simple tools to help handle cravings when they hit hard.

Complete privacy (no selling data, no forced sign-ups, etc).

I really want to make something that genuinely helps people without being annoying or judging them.

If you've ever tried using an app to quit a habit or addiction, could you tell me:

What is the most annoying thing about current recovery apps?

What feature would actually help you stay on track during a bad day?

What makes you immediately delete a self-improvement app?

Appreciate any advice or thoughts you guys have. Thanks!
