Am I being unreasonable? I Don’t want to seem like a grim colleague

We had an ex colleague saying she wanted to meet up for lunch, coffee etc. on that day all our team agreed to meet up and I felt kinda pressured to join. She is really nice and was a good person to work with.

But whenever someone leaves the team, I kind of take it as a goodbye and good luck. I personally wouldn’t want to meet up with my old team as a whole to talk about work as life moves on. There are people I have worked with who I am still friends with, but I never would have asked the team to join us when catching up.

In these situations is it OK to say you will not be joining but you wish them all the best?

What is one thing a footballer can do to guarantee being described as a class act?

I would say going over to the opposition after a heated match and offering some kind words is a certified classy moment. I was absolutely gutted not to see Messi V Ronaldo in the WC QF embracing each other at the end.

Are there Filipinas that are completely straight forward about what they want?

Just wondering if anyone has experience of this, for example on a first date or when getting to know someone.

It feels like there is certainly an interesting interpretation of “the truth” and ultimately what she wants, especially if from a poorer background.

I understand not being 100% honest at the start, but the culture regarding what you say and what you want seems polar opposite to Europe.

Can you “keep title hopes alive” despite being favourites and top of the league?

Is it not reserved for place number two and below?

Players that shouldn’t have become pundits

Rooney becoming a pundit has never felt right. At the most, he should be pictured on tv screens in the crowd in Old Trafford, possibly sitting near Sir Alex. It dosnt feel like he should be providing analysis or popping on podcasts.

Stevie G feels like he has dipped his foot too far in being a pundit so I don’t really think of him as as a serious coach
