This just came in the mail
I never stopped loving Michael- but the movie has reignited my love for my favorite singer (if possible)

Every person OWNED his/her role. Just BRILLIANT
We The People said his name is MICHAEL!! Yo it ain’t Harry Styles. Take notes, Rolling Stone😉
Well I saw my favorite movie again for the 5th time last night. And I’m telling ya the movie gets better with each watch. Something that I’d really like to shed a light on is how great the transitions in the movie are.
- From the camera zooming in on Michael’s face as he watches a scary movie intently then smiles as it is the moment he decides the name of the album to the transition into the making of Thriller
- To the camera zooming in on Joe’s face shocked after Michael walks past him in the tunnel the last night of the Victory tour as the “Bad” instruments come to transition back to the beginning scene
Those are just a couple of my favorites. The film is sprinkled with great transition after great transition
During a certain podcast based on a certain show- when a certain cohost (who was not a cast member) commented on the chemistry between Dylan/Brenda and how it seemed Luke was playing with Shannen’s hair or twirling her around more than usual- especially their dancing together- the cohost asked another certain cohost (who was in fact a cast member) if they thought there might be chemistry between Luke and Shannen. The certain cast member said at once “oh no Luke did that to all the girls” Meanwhile these gifs tell a different story:
For me Season 4
Not just saying this it’s become my favorite movie!!!!
Reposting this since the first time around was too confusing for the Michael haters:
Michael will surpass 1b because it is the better film just based on merit and filmmaking talent alone
How do we know this?
Because the movie market has been flooded with music biopic after music biopic in the last 10 years meaning the odds have been greatly stacked against Michael to begin with for this film to sell
Not to mention all the bad negative press the movie has gotten since the filmmaking for it started a couple years back from rumors of production problems to multiple news outlets saying it was “doomed” from the start
And yet-
Michael has moonwalked right past multiple biopics that the critics said it never would
Michael has broken box office records that the critics said it never would
Furthermore, Bohemian Rhapsody had the luxury of coming out in a time when there hadn’t been many biopics in a very long time- so it had the momentum of riding that “one of a kind” marketing wave of its time
There’s also the simple fact
That it’s Michael Jackson!!!!
(Someone actually tried to say in the previous post Queen was bigger than Michael Jackson
Sigh, what can I really say to that other than-
Dream on.
There’s only one 👑
And his name is Michael)
For some reason, I think Michael would have been proud of me for taking a stand not just for him but for those who look to help make the world a better place then get vilified for it
I know some of you will say it wasn’t worth it standing up to them- but I had to take a stand
Jafaar had the moves down
Jafaar had the mannerisms down
But most of all
Jafaar did a wonderful job staying true to Michael’s innocent aura
Michael having John send Joe a fax that he was fired was too funny. My theater went wild with laughter the moment that fax started printing out😂😂
I’m the lone soldier at my workplace defending Michael lately whenever he gets brought up. I mentioned I’m a Michael Jackson fan in what I thought was a safe zone. I mentioned I saw the Michael movie more than once and there have been eyebrows raised pointed towards my direction
Of course I have no problem defending Michael- but I find the people who constantly interject to paint Michael as such a bad person is such a weird hill to be on. It’s the most amazing thing- it’s like they automatically decided he’s guilty (despite, as I pointed out, Michael being found not guilty on all accounts). Then they on their self righteous high horses saying they still enjoy Michael’s music because they can separate the artist from the art. I pulled back at one point after they all started to gang up voicing the same hollow argument against Michael. Honestly I felt like telling them off but I didn’t. What’s ironic is that a couple of them agreed 1) the Michael movie was good or 2) Michael was a great artist. It’s just very frustrating how people lack simple critical thinking skills- how they’re able to jump on the bandwagon of hating Michael(Though I don’t think they would ever even call themselves haters)
The r/MichaelJackson sub removed my post but I’ll try again here:
The Michael movie has easily become one of my favorite films of all time.
Its a great coming of age story that I know is going to inspire tons of people- especially young people looking to find their way
And you know what?
Not every movie has to be some psychological thriller like a Christopher Nolan movie.
Call me crazy but I miss movies that are good hearted- inspire you- and ELEVATE your mood
And not so ironically that’s exactly what Michael Jackson was all about.
This is exactly the kind of movie THE WORLD needs
I feel so lucky to live in a time where I get to go to the theater to see it
For context, I’m 32 so I didn’t even get the chance to grow up with Michael
And yet,
I am feeling INSPIRED

Tonight I saw the movie on my own for the third time. The first time I went with friends on Friday.
The second time I just had to see it again on my own on Saturday. Then today after work- I was craving some Thriller. Just had to see it again
For context, I was born in 1994. My mom was the biggest Mj fan (she passed when I was 20) and my dad is the biggest Elvis fan. Growing up, I like to think I was raised on 2 kings.
That said- tonight- I had this thought in the theater.
The epitome of being a Michael Jackson fan is this:
On my left was a woman with a cane probably in her 70s- she came by herself and was enjoying every minute.
On my right was a young family with a very boisterous 3 yr old who also was enjoying every minute.
Dang Michael
You a legend fr
