Does 0.5ml - 10ml/L (0.5%-1% concentration) sound right for an acid wash to remove beer stone?

The General CIP Procedures chart I got from my rep gave me those numbers but the amounts and percentages don't match. 0.5ml/L would be 0.05%. So, I'm at a loss.

The internet says 7.8ml-23.4ml/L which would be 0.78% - 2.34%.

What does everyone else use?
