Legal system and problem children
I used to live in Greene county, and I went through a lot of trouble times. The longest time I ever spent in juvie was like 6 months for threats is the shortest way to explain it. I never put my hands on anyone or destroyed property it was just verbal threats.
I definitely don't want to minimize my behavior as a minor because I know I was bad as f***, but I do want to understand a little bit how Franklin county and more specifically Whitehall laws work with regards to problem children.
My neighbor's son has choked two children in our apartment complex and was threatening the neighbors and throwing rocks. He does have neurodivergence. Friday they took him to juvenile detention and today wednesday, he has returned back to school and home as if nothing has happened.
Can anyone kindly explain to me why a child who has put their hands on people and made threats and through rocks at cars can possibly be home within the week after doing so much destruction and actually harming someone versus another child in another county making threats?
