Tengen thought yuki could've lost inside her own domain

Tengen says kenjaku would be fine inside yuki's domain with his SD, at first this seems like just barrier upscalr for kenny, but this also implies that Tengen doesnt think yuki with her domain is enough to beat kenjaku

If she did, then kenjaku's SD being good enough to clash with yuki wouldnt be a problem, since yuki should just kick his ass inside her domain (domain amp + Tengen should know yuki is immune to curse CTs) but Tengen doesnt seem to think that

Tengen also knows enough about kenjaku's strength since we see her comment on Kenjaku earlier

Kenjaku is the best barrier user ever

Tengen calls kenjaku her equal and states he is fhe 2nd best barrier user in the world, this puts kenjaku above sukuna and gojo

After she says this we see 2 things happen

First kenjaku shows her he gained an open barfier domain. She didnt know he had this whole making those statements, meaning she didnt know his true strength

Second kenjaku calls her out for her lack of experience while flexing his domain, to me this is kenjaku saying he is better since unlike tengen he has actually lived in the 1000+ years he has been alive while tengen has just been locked away

So tengen thinks kenjaku is her equal without knowing his full capabilities, showing kenjaku is stronger than she thinks and stronger than her in barriers

Why does kenjaku get flack for having the perfect CT to defend against Yuki's black hole, but its fine when Yuki has the perfect CT to defend against CSM?

AGS doesn't even counter Yuki's CT fully, just one aspect (and not even the most essential one)

Compared to star rage which just happens to make yuki immune to all of kenjaku's curses high grade cursed spirits, while giving her the ap to shred through any small curse (negating curse swarm and kenjaku blocking punches with curses)

Iori okkotsu vs The Yutaliban : who should be the new face of the sub?

The yutaliban had the most votes but there were multiple replies asking for iori to stay, so who should it be?

u/Brief-Leg8738 — 24 days ago

Who should be the next face of the sub

I figured changing the pfp every ~2 ish months is fine, if its too short/long just say smth

IF Iori wins we will picked the most upvoted picture

Just because Takaba doesn't kill, doesn't mean he doesn't beat his opponent

Yuta won sendai despite ryu and uro surviving

Kenjaku beat choso despite him surviving

Hakari beat kashimo despite him surviving

Sukuna beat Yuta, maki, higuruma, and the rest of jjh (besides yuji, choso, and gojo) individually despite none of them dying

Gojo beat jogo despite him getting away

Yuji and nanami beat mahito despite him getting away

If I jumped you in a alley way but let you live id still be the winner

In sure there are more examples but my point is just because takaba doesn't kill his opponent doesn't mean he doesn't beat them.

We see kenjaku continously take damage and without his comedy expertise wouldve lost, so Takaba can just stall diff anyone especially since he does soul damage

I'm not a fan of Yuta, but holy shit is he strong

Not a big fan of yuta, but his abilities and narrative are insane

Copy is insane, top 5 cursed technique without a doubt. The only reason this isnt top 1 are 2 problems. Conditions (having to eat a body part) + only holding 3 other CTs.

Luckily rika solves all his problems!

The versatility this gives yuta is criminal.

Cs - When used by inumaki it was strong, with yuta it's **STRONG**. "Stop" is genuinely broken, not only does it give him a huge opening on people (granted CS + decap diff is glaze) but it works on projectiles, idk why this isn't brought up more

TE - angels's CT gives you one of the strongest moves in the verse, balenced by hana having bad stats and not being much of a figher. But nah let's give it to yuta. I do think its a tad overrated but still gives yuta a massive wincon vs reincarnated sorcerers + kenjaku

SM - gives yuta a way to fly, gives him a really good move to defect, and a move with solid ap. Imo one of the better CTs in yuta's kit especially with all the punch kick merchants in the top 10

The guy who was low diffd by the guy whos relative to yuta' CT - being able to see the future is strong, basically gives yuta a reaction speed buff that gets stronger throughout the fight.

Shrine+dhruvs CT - both kinda meh, nice assets in a fight but doesnf make or break a fight imo. The twist with sukunas finger was kinda cool ig

"Wow all this versatility, I wonder how gege balenced his character?" One may ask, and to do that he his stats decent. I say decent very loosely though since they aren't bad by any means, just overshadowed by some characters on his power level.

But once again rika saves the day!

Shes extremely strong and durable, and gives yuta a 2nd pair of hands. This is a MASSIVE advantage to have in a 1v1.

Something else about rika is she holds yuta's arsenal. Meaning if something happens to his weapon he just replaces it.

Speaking of this twink uses a sword, in a world dominated by punch merchants this is insane, and gives him ANOTHER advantage in cqc

One of hus only real weakness is bad CE control, but this is made up with yuta having the 2nd highest reserves and giving him infinite cursed energy for 5 minutes through RIKA.

Rika can also output possitive CE meaning she can heal yuta (jic he needs to save CE) and one shots most curses

Why the FUCK can rika turn into a room

Besides op abilities yuta can strong narrative

Is called second to gojo in unusual abilities. To me this is gege saying he is the strongest non gojo sorcerer from the modern era atp. Is the wording a bit strange yeah but the intent behind it is clear.

Kenjaku called him the leader of the heavy hitters, to me this is kenjaku putting yuta above everyone in jjh (besides takaba and gojo)

Sukuna called him the main dish. Although maki did excite him more in the end this is sukuna confirming kenjaku's thoughts imo.

He becomes a monster by stealing gojo's body. Not only did he get a buff by doing this (BB domain) but it adds to his narrative, making him a monster like his sensei (something the other HH couldn't do)

There's sendai, which brought together a bunch of high tiers from their respective era for a free for all which yuta had to enter. Sendai was one massive game if rock paper scissors and yuta was the gun. Ryu also glazed his durability and called him his desert (so probably his strongest opponent ever)

And finally there's maki calling yuta stronger than herself, and maki calling him their insurance

Hes just in general shown and talked about as a powerhouse

Hot take - the longer a chainscale, the worse it becomes

Image unrelated

Somtimes ill see a chain with like 4 names and 9 >'s signs and it'll be to compare 2 HH tier characters. Imo besides calamities and a few select characters and their stats (ex kenjaku with barriers, yuta with reserves, yuji with aura ect) no one gaps another enough for a bunch of >>>>>>>

I dont mean Yuta >~ hakari > base kashimo > ryu ones

But yuta >> Jp hakari >> Hakari >> kashimo >> ryu ones (this isn't inspired by anyone, just thought up by me now)

Yuki isn't lasting long in a clash

When Gojo and Sukuna clash for the first time, Sukuna wins almost instantly. We see them use their domains, Kusakabe, Mei Mei, and Yuji quickly reacts to Sukuna's domain then he wins the clash. Keep in mind this is with equal refinement (compared to Kenjaku who canonically refinement gaps Yuki).

Later we see Gojo (whose in burnout) use his simple domain against Sukuna. Gojo is able to fully heal and a whole conversation happens back inside Rika, yet Gojo still has time to initiate a attack. Now don't get me wrong, Gojo still doesn't last long, but i think its more than fair to say its still a longer time than the initial clash.

this debunks the idea that Yuki's SD surviving a few seconds means she can clash with Kenjaku long enough to do anything substantial, since we see SDs last longer inside open domains than normal domains

We see Yuki's SD starts getting shred instantly while doing the stance and doesn't even last long enough to get to Kenjaku before he finished his speech. If her simple domain wasn't strong enough to even get to Kenjaku her domain wouldn't survive long enough either, and even if SOMEHOW she could get close Kenjaku has AGS and is faster than her, so she wont be getting a hit off.

u/Brief-Leg8738 — 1 month ago

Kenjaku could do this, but use a simple domain

Kenjaku's simple domain is so good that Tengen didnt think Yuki's full domain could beat kenjaku's it, and although Yuki's domain is featless so is 99% of the verse

So during a clash even if the opponent switches their conditions or uses a BB domain kenjaku can up his output by turning off his sure hit and then just use SD to defend against the sure hit.

Kenjaku's sure hit seems to have really good ap/dc, so a boost to that would make it insane.

this doesn't help for most matchups, since kenjaku already domain diffs 99% of the verse but in the few he doesn't win almost immediately he can win even quicker

How fast is Yuta?

I know about the todo statement about maki

but what else? and where do you guys put his speed at?

u/Brief-Leg8738 — 2 months ago

Its crazy how in a verse known for jumpings, kenjaku was able to reverse jump Yuki, Choso and Tengen

Mahito was succesfully jumped twice

Hanami was successfully jumped

Cursya was successfully jumped

Dagon was successfully jumped

Gojo was successfully jumped

Sukuna was successfully jumped (granted he couldve definitely turned the tables earlier)

But kenjaku? He was jumped twice yet won the first one and only lost the 2nd time to Takaba, Yuta, and Todo and it was still close

"Ermmm but Tengen was a bum" without Tengen yuki gets domain diffd out her mind. Featless domain vs the best barrier user in history ✌️

Which character should be the sub's new profile picture.

I like change, so i wanna change the subs pfp a bit more

The reply with the most upvotes win

Dont be that guy and downvote the other choices

If you include a picture, no guarantee it's gonna be the pfp unless I really like it.
