A helpful tip for cleaning the stains on your cordura CPP2
I have the ANA limited collab edition CPP2 in the cordura fabric. Since I spilled my drink on my backpack and a heavy rain in New York City the zippers (both normal zippers and the waterproof zippers on the laptop compartment) and the front admin pouch + front bottom big pouch cordura surface have smudged white stains.
I tried to use hand sanitizer, lens wipe, and the wet wipes I borrowed from the office and none work. Essentially it seems to clean it when I apply on the area but after it dry the stain is back up.
The only and easiest solution I found is to use hand soap and a microfiber cloth. I do not want to damage the waterproof ability so I just wet the cloth and then rubbing the stained areas and then apply hand soap on the cloth to wipe it again. Then I wipe the area with a clean wet cloth again and left it to dry in the bathroom. Now the stains are completely gone.
Sorry it could be a thing a lot of baggers already knew but I was panicking about it. The limited edition is already sold out in new york and the employees there told me if there are any issues with the bag they cannot replace it with the exact limited edition but have to exchange for an alternative design. I hate to see that happen but now I am glad my problem is solved.
