I bought a kogan mobile prepay voucher that i thought i activated but it turns out i didnt and now the voucher is expired and i cant use it.
I just read online that:
Purchased on or after 16 March 2026: Under the Fair Trading (Gift Card Expiry) Amendment Act 2024, gift cards and vouchers must have a minimum 3-year expiry period from the date of sale. If a shorter expiry date was stated on your voucher, it is legally void and defaults to three years. [1, 2]

Would this apply for me?

My mum is on her final weeks and isn’t eating much. Just a few sips of water and spoons of jelly. We’d like to try cbd/thc to help with her nausea/appetite. We asked her conservative gp before she got admitted to palliative care but he just brushed it off. Will talk to her palliative doctor about it on Monday but i have a feeling it will be the same tune as the gp.

Anyone have any insight about this here in oz?

Hi, Ive been a VFX artist for nearly 20 years. I’ve worked in some of the biggest movies ever made and have a range of niche computer skills (coding, animation, web design, etc) that i have acquired over the years.
Despite being a senior artist, I’m still one of thousands that work to get these movies done. Its a very organic and labour intensive job. I am not rich but live well with my family.
Vfx seems to be in decline and id like make plans to monetised my skills but do it anonymously.
Im looking for ideas on how to do this. I dont know why I want to be anonymous but i think ill be more comfortable about it for now. So obviously- teaching it is kinda out of the question?
