A thousand years ago, Star Swirl the Bearded banished the Sirens to the "Equestria Girls" world, thereby introducing magic there. It’s a shame Sunset Shimmer doesn’t know about this part; it would have made things easier for her to realize that she wasn’t who brought magic to the human world.

He's a terrible role model. He lied to Spike, claiming he was his real father, and took advantage of his hospitality. Because of him, Spike ended up hurting Twilight Sparkle—and he did it quite skillfully, masking his actions by hiding behind the excuse that "it's part of dragon culture."

When Spike asks him what he’d like to do together as father and son, Sludge initially seems reluctant, almost as if he doesn’t actually want to spend time with Spike. But after speaking with Twilight Sparkle, he agrees—only to focus solely on his own desires during their time together. He teaches Spike the wrong things, makes Spike fetch food for him, and sends Spike to live outside and so on. What you think about him?
