S T A G E S !!!!!

I checked my account, and payments have been applied to the balance, but I don't see any refunds. It says I have no outstanding balance. This is my first semester at CSUEB, so what happens next?

Will the refund post?

Money Is Moving This Week I was Told !

As for those with a to-do list like 26/27 Aggr, exceed dbt. notice, they may need to run students' loan history and will let you know if anything else is needed. Per the Student Financial Aid Advisor, it may take a couple of weeks, per the Operations Manager of Financial Aid-

Nevertheless, I was told “the money is moving out, slowly like a river “so I’m sure people are seeing grants and loans applied for those who haven't gotten a to-do list, but if anyone has gotten something on the to-do list, like the 26/27 Aggr. exceed debt notice and has had or seen their loans applied to their account.

M A J O R - 26/27 Exceed Aggr, Reaffirm Dbt

There are no forms to access, no Financial Aid to speak to, no emails being answered, and no texts being returned. I am just curious; just say me too in the comment section if you have received this email.

Graduate Student or Undergrad... please put that in the comment section too.

If anyone has found the forms, please share.

**I do intend to call the loan holder; mine is NelNet on Monday. I tried earlier, but I was too late.

Federal Student Aid Updates: One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R.1)

Federal Student Aid Updates: One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R.1)

Summary | Effective date | Student provisions | Who is impacted | Key loan changes | Repayment changes | What you can do now | FAQ | Resources

Summary: What this page is (and why it matters)

A new federal law—the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R.1) was signed on July 4, 2025, and will change parts of federal student aid. Many updates begin with enrollment starting July 1, 2026 (the 2026-27 aid year).

This page explains what we know right now and what you can do to plan. Some details may change as the U.S. Department of Education guidance is finalized.

Effective date

Many changes apply to periods of enrollment that begin on or after July 1, 2026. Some rules may phase in over time, and some continuing borrowers may qualify for limited “legacy” provisions that allow them to continue borrowing under older rules for a limited time if they meet certain conditions.

Scheduled Disbursements Financial Aid Year 2026-2027 Fall Semester 2026

Just heard from the Financial Aid Department that student loans will not be released until the second week of school because they have not been released yet.

Has anyone else heard this same information?
