I checked my account, and payments have been applied to the balance, but I don't see any refunds. It says I have no outstanding balance. This is my first semester at CSUEB, so what happens next?

Nevertheless, I was told “the money is moving out, slowly like a river “so I’m sure people are seeing grants and loans applied for those who haven't gotten a to-do list, but if anyone has gotten something on the to-do list, like the 26/27 Aggr. exceed debt notice and has had or seen their loans applied to their account.

**I do intend to call the loan holder; mine is NelNet on Monday. I tried earlier, but I was too late.

Many changes apply to periods of enrollment that begin on or after July 1, 2026. Some rules may phase in over time, and some continuing borrowers may qualify for limited “legacy” provisions that allow them to continue borrowing under older rules for a limited time if they meet certain conditions.
Just heard from the Financial Aid Department that student loans will not be released until the second week of school because they have not been released yet.
