Putter: Oil can-finish Ping Anser 2
Long story short I am notorious for buying cheap thrift store putters. My gamer for a long time has been an oil can Anser 2, but I wanted to try some other heavier blades. I recently picked up a Golden Bear Tranzition Milled blade putter new in plastic ($5!!!) and I like the weight and aesthetic a lot. I noticed it has a slight clicking noise when I hit some parts of the insert, and I think the polymer insert is starting to delaminate. I don’t really notice much of a change in performance, but from other’s experience, is this a deal breaker? Any repair recommendations with/without installing a new insert? Thanks!
