Help me ID my new to me desk

Hi. I just got this desk. I bought it because it fits the look I want to achieve in my future home office. I cannot find a label on it. I included a photo of the only stamp I can find. I think it is a Governor Winthrop style revival piece.

Edit: I have always been aware it was called a secretary. I used that word in my online searches when I was looking for one. I should have put that in the original post.

I did not pay a lot for it. It’s not an investment. I wanted for how it will look in my future space.

I cannot find a stamp or label from a manufacturer. I just wanted to identify the manufacturer and approximate age. I was guessing 1940s.

Thank you all for your help.

Edit 2

I think it is a 1940s Maddox "Bachelor-Scale" Governor Winthrop Secretary. Maddox Table Company is the answer I was seeking.

Thank you all!

Retaking ASL 1

Hi! I am planning to retake ASL 1 because I need more practice with finger spelling, numbers, and my receptive/expressive vocabulary. This is not for school credit. I am learning ASL because I want to for personal enrichment. It will also be beneficial at my job. I liked my instructor. I think I would enjoy the class again with the same instructor. However, is there a reason to take it with a different instructor? I am open to either. I did not have as many opportunities to practice ASL with members of the Deaf community over the last few months, as I will during the next class session.

Finding buddy sites in north Georgia

Hi everyone! I have a 30ft TT and my friend has a 25ft class C. We are looking for adjacent campsites on Lake Lanier or Lake Allatoona. We like to kayak and fish from our sites. Any website suggestions or campgrounds you like to go camping with friends? We have camped at Bolding Mill Campground on Lake Lanier and we like it a lot. We will go there again, but we want to see other campgrounds as well.
